During the 2012 London Olympic Games, over 10,000 athletes gathered in London to test their stamina and skills with other contestants. Every four years, these Olympians teach the world many lessons—we see tears of joy for winning gold, and singing national anthems with pride, and tears of sadness for touching the finish line micro seconds behind the gold medalist. Michael Phelps, an American swimmer, won 16 Olympic medals: six of them gold, and two bronze in Athens in 2004 and eight gold medals in Beijing in 2008. I was reading an interesting article as to what made him different from other swimmers and how he managed to capture so many gold medals.
